2 Alternatives to February's Sugar Surge
February 4, 2016, by Rebecca Jackson
From the grocery store, to the office kitchen, and sometimes it even creeps into our homes….CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE everywhere!! February, the second month of the year, one month AFTER you decided to make some serious changes in your life with New Years, and society is trying to sabotage us!

We have some choices. We can either:

1) give up on our New Years resolutions and join in with the chocolate surge!

or

2) decide that we are better than giving up. We are stronger than giving up. And if we want some chocolate, we are going to do it the healthier way. How?

Two alternatives to February's Sugar Surge

  1. Cocoa Nibs. They are quite bitter so just a spoonful should do the trick. If you can make the switch; they are chocolate, and they are delicious. We like ours with a 4oz pour of wonderfully cold whole milk.
  2. Mix a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder in 4-6oz of milk.
Stay tuned for more alternatives to sugar this month.

Have fun & Be Active!
