New Year New Goals

It is officially the day that we try to change our bad behaviors and start some new behaviors. This month, we want to help you formulate your goals and get on the right track for achieving them. Take a few minutes (RIGHT NOW) to write down some things you would like to change. Look at your regular/typical day from when you wake up to when you go to bed. What habits are you excited about keeping, what ones do you want to eliminate or modify, and what habits do you want to start?

Once you have your list, it's important to then try and figure out how we can take that list and turn it into a s.m.a.r.t. goal: a Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Sensitive Goal.

Specific: Give the goal as much definition as you can. Fill out the Who? What? Where? When? and How? of your goal

Measurable: Is there a way to measure your progress on the goal? How?

Attainable: Can your goal actually be done?

Relevant: Does your goal fit into your life?

Time-Sensitive: Set a deadline. I need to accomplish this goal by this date and this is how I'm going to do it.
